Welcome to wisdom scribed by Ruth Lee and shared freely here. Ten years ago I wrote without thought on my part Angel of The Maya (ATM)…Now as the Kindle version is finalized, I realize what was meant then when I sat down daily to write. Truly amazing how my life follows my art! This book speaks about what is going on now!
All who read the first edition of Angel of The Maya will verify there was a chapter about a drunken cruise ship Captain who remains on shore while his ship lists, leaving only pursers and maids to save the day…Straight out of Today’s headlines! Yes, it's time to recognize what is prescribed to heal the wounds of our world.
Thinking
about ATM, I spotted this great video of a recent Mayan Calendar Ritual celebrating the New Year Festival called Wajshakib' B'atz at a sacred alter site
called Nima Sabal in Guatemala. Jim Reed
shared this film on YouTube so you and I would see it today…: )

With a smile on your face and a lovely thought look at someone nearby and transmit it to them. See if you can make them smile back or drive on with a happier mind. Try it all the time and keep tabs on how you feel and why.
I received the following request for prayers from our Blog Buddy, Lynne...and want to add that her mother underwent surgery last night...and requires healing energies today to help her get up and about and working her way out of the hospital now...
Dear Ruth-
Please ask for prayers for my Mom, Shirley, who fell and broke her hip. She spent 23 lonely hours unable to get up or call for help, so she is very emotionally shook up as well as in much pain.
She needs help healing her body, mind, and spirit, as well as accepting the fact that she will not be able to live alone any longer. Please also pray for me and my siblings as we work to find the best arrangements for her future now.
Thank you! I am so grateful to all who will join me in prayer and to you for creating this family of those who rely on the Holy Spirit for all.
Love, Lynne
The song, “Paint with all the colors of the wind” … reflects the depth and sanctity of life and presents the Native American viewpoint that Earth is a living entity…and humankind is connected to every other living thing. I firmly believe this, too…Do you? If so, you will appreciate the work put into creating this version of the song. The producer says: “This is certainly fair use because it all belongs to the planet we call home...”
Open and smiling beguiles more women than men, but what if you can win over half the human race by doing just that? Would it not be worth your while to practice it now?
Quick study... Learn about the sophisticated, underground, fungal network that trees use to communicate and share nutrients (maybe belief systems?). University of British Colombia, Canada, professor Suzanne Simard leads us through the forrest to investigate an underground community and discovers the 'Mother Tree"..
Quietly analyze and you figure things out quicker than if you announce that you are trying to figure something out.
Analyzing Leonardo Da Vinci's famous painting "Mona Lisa" following ancient principles of geometry used in the planning and construction of religious structures as well as sacred spaces. He did his math BEFORE he started painting in order to align his model with his plottings while using a camera obscura or camera lucida
Here is an animated geometric analysis of the Mona Lisa based upon a modification of the original analysis done by Robert diCurcio. If you wish to explore this subject more, it is recommended you read "Sacred Geometry: Philosophy and Practice" by Robert Lawlor, ISBN-10: 0500810303.
