The following excerpt is the final message of Angel of The Maya!:
At the end of another busy week working with the children, the shaman said, “We are here today to teach you, using waves of thought. If you want to move into a new line, you have to open to doing this work, too.” He always left them wondering if they had said or done the right thing or done good with their lessons, without actually suggesting they might do better than they did. He was not creating a sense of guilt, rather the realization that Maya are not going to change, nor would you, if there is no lesson or pain involved. What the mind loves most is to remind itself constantly of what you said you would do and compare it to what you actually did. Therein lies the lesson and possibly the pain of living today.
The old man looked at each young face, smiling through ripples of wrinkles, winking at one or two, before he began again. When ready, he held up his hand and ticked off on his fingers the lessons. He said, “Lesson One – Don’t worry about what you’re doing now but about what you said you would do, and now have no interest in pursuing. Lesson Two – Don’t sit and think—move and believe.” If the children did not understand, they did not show any sign of it, so he continued.
“Physical labor is always the end of the line for your spine if you don’t align your mind with your time… Money problems are a definite way to analyze your mind and how well it adjusts to what you discover… If you want everything you see, you’re indirectly asking for too many things without accepting that you can rest and feel blessed… If you have enough today and want to save for another day, you may be afraid to say it out loud because you don’t trust others that much.” Since the children did not appear to get this lesson, he put it aside with a wave of his hand, indicating he would talk with their parents, perhaps teach them so they could pass it down later.
After a few moments of deep thought, the shaman looked up at the sky and started talking again. “When you look at the sky and see Venus rising ask God to take you on high when the time arrives. It’s that easy! You can do it, if you leave your mind alone and live in your own home without any sense of frustration or hatred there…You’ll live as long as it takes to get you to where you can decide if you want to ascend in time or stay for another life…. Once that decision arrives at the office of the controller of this life, you will survive and do more or you will go with The Lord and end the confusion you feel when you put away a completed work of art.”
As the night deepened around the circle, the old man stood and shook himself. With arms extended toward the sky, he spoke to the children and adults sitting or standing around him. “We are here and now ending this discussion of existence—and what it takes to live in these times…without telling you what you will do… because we can’t be you. Fill in your blank spaces…ease into your own mind over time and sense that if you ascend at the end of this existence, you’re free to be all you can be—and never again feel this small.
“As we part, for the time being, I ask each of you to say a word or two about your day. God willing—and you are allowed to say that out loud, it will be done…You will be amazed at how quickly you spot miracles everywhere!”
